1. Who We Are

ClaimBoost is operated by Success Scholars LLC, a California limited liability company. Our mailing address is 4321 Balboa Ave #1397, San Diego, CA 92117. You can reach us at hello@myclaimboost.com.

2. What We Collect

When you use ClaimBoost, we collect:

• Contact information — your name and email address, submitted through the claim form. • Claim details — information about your insurance company, state, damage type, dates, dollar amounts, and your written description of the claim situation. • Uploaded documents — PDFs and images you choose to attach (estimates, denial letters, policy pages, damage photos). • Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, bank account, or payment credentials. • Technical data — IP address, browser type, and basic usage data collected automatically through Vercel's hosting infrastructure.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to:

• Generate your AI-powered appeal packet. • Deliver your packet and related emails to the address you provide. • Send you a confirmation email when we receive your claim details. • Send admin notifications to our internal team so we can monitor delivery and quality. • Respond to refund requests or support inquiries.

We do not use your claim information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering your packet.

4. AI Processing (Anthropic Claude)

Your claim details and uploaded documents are processed by Claude, an AI model developed by Anthropic, to generate your appeal packet. This processing happens at the time of your submission. We do not store your uploaded files after your packet is generated and delivered.

Anthropic's use of data submitted through the API is governed by their privacy policy and API usage policies. Anthropic does not use API-submitted data to train their models by default.

5. Email Delivery (Resend)

We use Resend to deliver transactional emails — your confirmation email, your packet, and internal admin notifications. Resend stores email logs (recipient address, subject, delivery status) for a limited period. Resend's privacy policy governs their handling of this data.

6. Payment Processing (Stripe)

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay, you are interacting directly with Stripe's secure checkout. We receive confirmation that your payment was completed and your email address from Stripe — nothing else. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We share data only with the service providers listed above (Anthropic, Resend, Stripe, Vercel) and only as necessary to deliver the service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

8. Data Retention

Uploaded documents are not retained after your packet is generated. Email records (your address and delivery status) are retained by Resend per their standard policy. Stripe retains payment records as required by financial regulations. We retain your submitted claim details (text fields) only as long as necessary for support purposes, typically no longer than 90 days.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@myclaimboost.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).

10. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information — HTTPS encryption in transit, secure API keys, and access controls. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. If you have concerns about sensitive documents, email us and we'll discuss options.

11. Children

ClaimBoost is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of ClaimBoost after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
